Participation Eligibility: To be eligible for participation on this short-term trip each applicant will need to be 18 years of age or older. Minors may be accepted if accompanied by one or more parents or legal guardians. In addition, the applicant must be a Christian with a good testimony, and live a separated, holy lifestyle. As part of the application process, applicants must have their pastor complete a Pastor Recommendation Letter, sign a Liability & Medical Waiver Form and agree to abide by the Rules of Conduct in the "Mission: Monterrey 2007" Handbook.
Schedule of Application Deadlines:
- April 15, 2007: Completed Preliminary Inquiry Form must be completed and postmarked by April 15th, 2007. You may click here and download and print this form. Once this form is received by M-28 Taskforce personnel, an full application packet will be mailed to you containing all of the necessary forms that you will need to complete and detailed information about this short-term mission trip. Please note: Each interested person must complete his or her own Preliminary Inquiry Form and mail it in by the deadline to be considered for participation in this short-term mission trip.
- May 15, 2007: "Mission: Monterrey 2007" Application Packet (included all required forms) must be completed and postmarked by May 15th, 2007.
- May 15-22, 2007: Acceptance or Rejection Letters will be mailed out to all individuals from whom we receive completed "Mission: Monterrey 2007" Application Packets
- June 1, 2007: Once an applicant receives an acceptance letter, he or she must send in their Initial Nonrefundable Deposit of $150 as confirmation of their intended participation and to allow M-28 Taskforce personnel to begin making the necessary travel arrangements.
Total Trip Cost & Deposit Due Dates:
Trip costs are set at $1,350. The trip payment deposit schedule is staggered as follows:
All deposits must be received by August 1, 2007 for participation in the mission trip.
June 1, 2007: Initial nonrefundable deposit of $150.
July 1, 2007: Second deposit of $350
July 15, 2007: Third deposit of $350
August 1, 2007: Final deposit of $500

Item of Importance: Passport
In addition to completion of all necessary forms, each participant in this short-term mission trip must obtain a valid U.S. Passport. Information on how to obtain a U.S. Passport will be included with each Acceptance Letter. If the applicant is accepted and already has a valid U.S. Passport, then their passport must have an expiration date no sooner than March 2008 for international travel. Beginning January 1, 2007 every person commencing in international travel to Mexico must have a valid U.S. Passport. An original birth certificate is no longer valid for travel to and from Mexico.
